Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) College of Health and Life Sciences (CHLS) hosted the Second Advances in Precision Medicine (APM2025) Conference at Education City’s Minaretein. The two-day event was co-organized by Qatar Precision Health Institute (QPHI) and sponsored by Qatar Research Development and Innovation (QRDI) Council.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) and the Organizing Committee of the GCC Women's Sports Committee for Universities and Higher Education Institutions have announced details of the upcoming tournament, set to take place at HBKU from February 6 to 11, 2026, with the Opening Ceremony taking place February 7.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in examining medical images, especially digital pictures of tissue samples under the microscope, is one of the most revolutionary developments in the field of medicine. These technologies promise to enhance doctor expertise, not replace them, leading to more precise classification, quicker diagnosis, and customized treatment regimens.

 Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) has been awarded a UNESCO Chair on Digital Technologies and Human Behavior, with the College of Science and Engineering's (CSE) Dr. Raian Ali appointed as Chairholder from June 2025 to June 2029.

UNESCO’s Chairs Programme represents the organization’s most significant intersectoral activity in higher education. The designation is in recognition of HBKU’s excellence, building on the existing UNESCO Chairs on Environmental Law and Sustainable Development. 

The Global Institute for Strategic Research (GISR) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) concluded a symposium examining the growing prominence of narrative construction and the critical role of digital archiving in preserving authentic records of war atrocities.
