Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) participated proudly at the 12th edition of the World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE), continuing its long-standing, integral role as a partner of the conference.

This year’s event took place under the theme ‘Humanity.io: Human Values at the Heart of Education.’ This message was directly in tune with HBKU’s priorities of advancing human-centered innovation, ethics, interdisciplinary collaboration, and conversations that shape the future of education, globally, and particularly in the Global South.

Breast cancer remains a major health challenge for women, being the most commonly diagnosed and leading cause of cancer death worldwide. In Qatar, it represents the highest prevalence in the overall population, accounting for 38.8% of cases in women in 2022. It is also the fourth leading cause of cancer-related deaths in Qatar.
