Scholarships

Graduate student scholarships may include a tuition waiver applied to reduce the tuition costs for the students and a stipend paid directly to the student. Generally, graduate students receiving a stipend would also be provided with a tuition waiver.

Tuition Waivers

Tuition waivers are standardized across HBKU. Self-sponsored graduate students are only eligible for a discounted tuition rate of 2,000 QAR per credit hour based on financial need. These guidelines do not apply to students funded by external sources. Students should follow the policies of their sponsors as applicable.

The table below outlines the various tuition waiver rates for HBKU-sponsored graduate students.
