The College of Health and Life Sciences (CHLS) at HBKU addresses national and global health challenges by educating coming generations of professionals in the fields of biomedical sciences, genomics, precision medicine, and exercise science.

The health sciences are central to improving the quality of life and improving the human condition.

As a discipline, the health sciences involve two aspects. The first is directed toward the study, research and development of knowledge on the human physical condition and diseases that impact health and well-being. The second is applying the knowledge gained to improve health, develop effective therapies that alleviate and/or cure diseases, and implementing measures that control the incidence of disease.
