Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) has launched its new Master of Arts in Translation for the Creative Industries. Developed and delivered by the College of Humanities and Social Sciences’ (CHSS) Department of Language, Culture, and Communication, the program is the first of its kind in the Middle East and North Africa region.

Participants gathered to discuss a variety of topics shaping the GCC’s university mental health ecosystem.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) commenced its Annual Workshop Series on University Mental Health with a launch event at Education City’s Minaretein Building. 


The contestants proposed projects spanning the fields of environmental affairs, energy solutions, social issues, improving developing nations, and resource equity.

After six successful years under Texas A&M University at Qatar’s (TAMU-Q) enrichment program, Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) organized its first Invent for the Planet (IFTP) competition. The event formed part of an annual global innovation challenge addressing topics such as environmental affairs, energy solutions, social issues, improving developing nations, and resource equity.
