Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) has signed a long-term partnership agreement with Web Summit to advance innovation, entrepreneurship, and research transformation and promote Qatar’s innovation ecosystem worldwide.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (QBRI) has launched a new initiative in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) to inspire future generations of biomedical professionals through interactive programs and hands-on experiences that foster interest in biomedical research and careers in the field.

The Qur’anic Botanic Garden (QBG), a member of Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), has successfully concluded its Third International Forum held under the theme "The Role of Plant Conservation in Promoting Biodiversity and Environmental Preservation."

Dr. Monem H. Beitelmal, Principal Scientist, Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI), has been elected a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME). This distinction, which recognizes excellence and dedication in the engineering profession, is awarded to individuals who have made major contributions to the field. Fewer than 5% of ASME members worldwide achieve this status, emphasizing the significance of this achievement.
 

Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) highlighted its growing research commercialization prowess at Web Summit Qatar 2025, featuring six technologies and eight start-ups initiated within its robust incubation and development infrastructure.

The College of Public Policy (CPP) partnered with the International Public Policy Association (IPPA) to hold the International Winter School on Public Policy - Doha Edition 2025, hosting 35 PhD students and early career researchers from 17 countries for a unique educational program focusing on public policy research and design.
