Education City’s Minaretein Building was the location for the third edition of Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) Student Research Forum. 

Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) Innovation Center (IC), part of the Office of Innovation and Industrial Relations (OIIR), hosted the graduation ceremony for Cycle 3 of the REYADA program, celebrating 17 projects led by promising entrepreneurs within the Qatar Foundation (QF) community.

The College of Science and Engineering (CSE) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), in collaboration with the Association for Materials Protection and Performance (AMPP) Qatar Chapter, hosted a workshop to highlight advancements in corrosion research and explore career opportunities in materials and corrosion engineering. The event brought together students, faculty, and industry professionals to discuss the increasing demand for corrosion specialists and the role of academia in preparing graduates for careers in the sector.

A delegation including representatives from Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) College of Islamic Studies (CIS) and College of Public Policy (CPP), Earthna, the Ministry of Municipality, and Georgetown University in Qatar visited Singapore to exchange insights into sustainable food security strategies with academic, government, and industry experts. The visit was part of the knowledge dissemination activities within a grant by Qatar Research Development and Innovation Council (QRDI) led by Dr. Dalal Aassouli, Assistant Professor of Islamic and Sustainable Finance, CIS.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) Global Institute for Strategic Research (GISR), in collaboration with the College of Islamic Studies (CIS) and College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS), hosted a thought-provoking roundtable discussion featuring His Excellency (HE) Ambassador Jean-Christophe Peaucelle, Advisor for Religious Affairs with the French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs.

The UNESCO Chair on Environmental Law and Sustainable Development at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) successfully co-organized the 6th MENA Environmental Law and Policy Scholars’ Conference, which saw international experts reaffirm the importance of environmental law in advancing water security.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) College of Public Policy (CPP) has announced the launch of its Master of Global Health Policy (MGHP) program, a full-time, two-year professional degree designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge necessary to tackle pressing health policy challenges on both national and global levels.

Building upon the recent establishment of its Women in Academia Committee (WiAC), Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) staged its inaugural Forum for Women in Academia at Education City’s Minaretein Building.
