On February 20, the College of Law at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), in association with the Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre, hosted Sir Bruce Robertson for a colloquium on litigation and legal ethics in a globalized world. Sir Bruce has served as a judge of the Qatar International Court since 2013. A native of New Zealand, he was a judge of the Court of Appeal of New Zealand and previously of the High Court. He continues to sit in various Pacific jurisdictions, holding a number of statutory and advisory roles.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) has solidified its academic and research efforts with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) it has signed with the Brookings Doha Center (BDC).
The MoU will underline areas of mutual benefit and develops a cooperative framework designed to facilitate scholarly exchanges, internships, and BDC-HBKU activities. In doing so, both entities will have a steadfast commitment towards supporting Qatar’s National Vision 2030.
