Their life choices may lead to different pathways, but each of these young and aspiring individuals share one attribute -- they have walked the stage as proud members of Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) Class of 2019.
Muhammed Al-Housaini, a student enrolled in the PhD in Sustainable Energy program at the College of Science and Engineering (CSE), part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), earned a gold medal at the 47th International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva. Al-Housaini was part of a delegation of representatives from Qatar and the region who engaged with more than 800 exhibitors across 45 countries.

The College of Science and Engineering (CSE), part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), hosted its Annual Research Open Day 2019, which aimed to nurture scientific research while creating an integrated ecosystem that encourages the exchange of innovative work.
The event, which concluded today, aimed to instill in the HBKU community a spirit of research and highlight CSE as a leading research and knowledge hub where scholars, researchers, and industry partners will come together to exchange ideas, share findings, and discuss future collaborations.

The College of Islamic Studies (CIS) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), is to host a public lecture on ‘Qatari Family Law: Features and Gaps’ led by guest speaker Dr. Ibrahim Alwan, professor of Shari’a at the Qatar Police College.
Dr. Alwan will shed light on the intrinsic role of the Qatar Family Law as well as its applications, justifications, and inferences. He will use real life examples to illustrate important themes within the law, and provide a comprehensive and balanced analysis of its articles.
