The Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) recently hosted the second in a series of Science Majlis, to promote greater awareness about relevant science and technology topics affecting the world today, and to showcase its research projects to the wider community.
Hamad Bin Khalifa University Press (HBKU Press) is participating in the 2019 edition of Frankfurter Buchmesse (the Frankfurt International Book Fair) which opens on 16 October 2019. The life and works of one of the most influential astronomers of the Muslim world will be appraised at the next public lecture to be staged by Mohammed Bin Hamad Al Thani Center for Muslim Contribution to Civilization (CMCC) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) College of Islamic Studies (CIS), entitled ‘Ibrahim Al-Zarqali’s Contribution to Astronomy’.
