University (HBKU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). Signed during Doha Forum 2019, the agreement provides a framework for cooperation and collaboration in areas of common interest.

Between November 23 and 26, faculty from Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) attended PhD Workshop China 2019 in Beijing. The annual event provides foreign universities and research institutes with opportunities to present their programs onsite and connect with top Chinese graduates and PhD candidates who are looking to study abroad. The College of Islamic Studies, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the College of Science and Engineering represented HBKU at PhD Workshop China 2019.
It is every researcher’s dream -- a full service, highly technologized lab space in close proximity to busy workstations. Scientists are coming close to realizing this at QEERI -- one of the country’s largest university-affiliated research institutes -- providing Qatar’s government (and its agencies) with deep expertise in specialized physical and life sciences fields to support national priorities and technology development programs.
