A large number of delegates and guests attended an interesting panel discussion on ‘Implementing a Policy Framework to Support Sustainable Development through the Water-Energy-Environment Nexus, during the final day of the International Conference on Sustainable Energy-Water-Environment Nexus in Desert Climates 2019 (IC-SEWEN’19). IC-SEWEN’19, which was held at the Qatar National Convention Centre from 2-5 December, is the flagship conference of the Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute, part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University.

For the third consecutive year, Hamad Bin Khalifa University Press will participate in the Kuwait International Book Fair this coming 20 – 30 November. The HBKU Press booth, located in Hall 6, Booth 31, will highlight its complete catalog of works including new titles in every genre and will also host Qatari author, Amal Al Langawi, for a book signing ceremony on Thursday, November 21st.
