Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU)’s College of Health and Life Sciences (CHLS) was a partner in Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC)’s Person-Centered Care (PCC) Virtual Forum 2021 from October 15-16. The PCC Forum brought together international and local speakers with knowledge and expertise in person-centered care and improvement. HBKU was invited to partner with HMC as part of its efforts to ensure a high quality educational opportunity for all participants.
The College of Law at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), in collaboration with Qatar International Court and Dispute Resolution Centre (QICDRC), a specialized civil and commercial court in the Qatar Financial Centre (QFC), held an online panel discussion examining employment law issues in Qatar.

His Excellency Jonathan Wilks CMG, British Ambassador to Qatar, visited the College of Public Policy (CPP) recently to speak to students in the 'Specialization Lab' component of the Master of Public Policy (MPP) program.
During his visit, Ambassador Wilks gave a presentation on the importance of good governance and the rule of law. He also elaborated on the ongoing collaboration between the Embassy and the State of Qatar in these areas. Students had a chance to ask Ambassador Wilks questions after the presentation.

The DPP is a partnership with the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) Geneva with the support of Qatar Fund for Development. The program has other hubs in Accra, Bangkok, Bishkek, Doha, Lima, and Ouagadougou.
