Preparations are well underway for Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s (HBKU) 1st International Conference on Visualization and Computer-Human Interaction (VisCHI). Co-organized by Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI) and the College of Science and Engineering (CSE), the event brings together experts and users of scientific and data visualization, as well as computer-human interaction technologies.

Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (QBRI), part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), has released the results of its intensive six-year study on the Prevalence of Autism Spectrum Disorder in Qatar – the first of its kind to be conducted in Qatar and the Gulf region.
The study was carried out by QBRI’s Neurological Disorders Research Center (NDRC), which focuses on investigating the increasing prevalence of neurological disorders in Qatar and the region, including conditions such as Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s College of Health and Life Sciences (CHLS) has introduced programs that accelerate the pace at which Qatar’s next generation of scientists can tackle the most pressing health and developmental challenges facing Qatar and the region.
