Dr. Fatima Ahdash at Oxford University

Over the past month, College of Law Assistant Professor Dr. Fatima Ahdash has been Visiting Fellow to the Centre for Socio-Legal Studies at the University of Oxford. 

As a fellow, she conducted research on constructions and regulations of childhood and family life within the national security context, using empirical and other socio-legal methods. She also participated in the academic life of the Centre, attending academic seminars and methodology training events. 

During her time there, she was also interviewed by Professor Linda Mulcahy for Talking about Methods, the Centre's socio-legal methodology podcast (part of the Frontiers of Socio-Legal Studies project and blog), where she discussed the methods she uses in her research, focusing on interdisciplinary legal research.

Her contributions have significantly enriched the Center’s academic discourse and the advancement of socio-legal studies.
