Exploring the role of law and regulation in enabling public and private financing for green growth will be the focus of the next colloquium at the College of Law of Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). The Legal and Contractual Aspects of Green Financing will also reflect on the complexities of drafting, negotiating, and facilitating commercial contracts and financing instruments.

The College of Public Policy (CPP) works within Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) with the main aim of supporting and contributing to effective policy development and implementation of the Qatar National Vision 2030.

Connecting Qatar’s youth with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is one of the key themes of the first Maker-Majlis presented by the College of Islamic Studies (CIS) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU). The four-day event also considers how the global goals are relevant for the Islamic world, while serving Qatar’s strategic objectives.

As part of the upcoming International Conference in Sustainable Energy Water Environment Nexus in Desert Climate 2019 (IC-SEWEN’19), the Qatar Environment and Energy Research Institute (QEERI) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), in cooperation with strategic partner KAHRAMAA represented by the National Program for Conservation and Energy Efficiency, Tarsheed, is to host a ‘Young Innovator Award’ competition for students at all national and international schools in Qatar. 

The College of Islamic Studies (CIS) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) recently hosted The Blue Qur’an in its Eurasian Context, a public event which considered the importance of this key manuscript beyond the Islamic world.
