Hamad Bin Khalifa University Press (HBKU Press) continues to publish quality research that meets globally-recognized academic publishing standards on its online, open access platform, QScience.com, since its top medical journals, Qatar Medical Journal (QMJ) and the Journal of Emergency Medicine, Trauma and Acute Care (JEMTAC), were indexed on Scopus in the early 2000s.

Registration Opens for HBKU TII’s Summer Language Programs for Adults, Youth, and Children

The Language Center at the Translation and Interpreting Institute (TII), part of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHSS) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), has opened registration for its summer 2021 language courses, which will run from May 30 to June 30.

Courses open to adults, children, and youth are Arabic, Chinese (Mandarin), French, German - in partnership with the Goethe-Institut Gulf Region, Portuguese, and Spanish. Additionally, adults can also learn Italian, Japanese, English, and Korean. Classes will be offered online at flexible timings.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s Three Minute Thesis (3MT) Competition a Virtual Showcase of Graduate Research

Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) showcased the exciting research being done by its graduate students at the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®) competition. The final event was held online on April 15, where students from the College of Health and Life Sciences (CHLS) emerged as the top three winners.
