As part of its Interactive Design for Healthcare course, students from the College of Science and Engineering (CSE) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) attended a workshop on digital accessibility at Mada – Qatar Assistive Technology Center. The CSE course, delivered by Dr. Dena Al-Thani, assistant professor at CSE, highlights the importance of accessible digital content for persons with disabilities and the elderly. The workshop at Mada enhanced participants’ learning experience, providing them with opportunities to engage with real-world applications and technologies.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), a member of Qatar Foundation, celebrated the graduation of its Class of 2019 during a ceremony held at Qatar National Convention Centre on Saturday, May 4, attended by Her Excellency Sheikha Hind bint Hamad Al Thani, Vice Chairperson and CEO of Qatar Foundation, and Chairperson of HBKU’s Board of Trustees.
The College of Science and Engineering (CSE), part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), hosted its Annual Research Open Day 2019, which aimed to nurture scientific research while creating an integrated ecosystem that encourages the exchange of innovative work.
The event, which concluded today, aimed to instill in the HBKU community a spirit of research and highlight CSE as a leading research and knowledge hub where scholars, researchers, and industry partners will come together to exchange ideas, share findings, and discuss future collaborations.
