Dr. Logan Cochrane, Associate Professor and Director of the Program on Governance, Resilience and Sustainability (PROGRESS) at the College of Public Policy (CPP), recently gave a presentation to the Governance and Policy Think Tank at Sharif University of Technology, Iran. Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with talabat, the region’s leading local tech company, that will enable students to apply industry-relevant knowledge to benefit their career development. The one-year MoU is particularly aimed at students in the College of Science and Engineering (CSE)’s multidisciplinary programs in logistics and supply chain management, sustainable energy, and sustainable environment, at both the Masters and PhD levels.

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) to promote education in intellectual property (IP) law.

CPP Dean Visits Chiang Mai University with the IPPA

Dr. Leslie Pal, Founding Dean of the College Public Policy, was part of a site visit to Chiang Mai University, Thailand, on December 14-18. The visit was conducted by the International Public Policy Association (IPPA) as part of an official bid by the School of Public Policy at Chiang Mai University to hold the International Conference on Public Policy in 2023.
