HBKU’s College of Public Policy Welcomes Prospective Students at Virtual Graduate Studies Information Session

The College of Public Policy (CPP) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), held its Graduate Studies Information Session as an interactive virtual event on February 3. It was an opportunity for prospective students from around the world to better understand the prospects and benefits of choosing to pursue their graduate studies in public policy at HBKU. Dr. Leslie A. Pal, dean of CPP; Dr. Ozcan Ozturk, MPP coordinator; and Dr. Logan Cochrane, capstone coordinator,  fielded questions from local and international participants on the multidisciplinary Master of Public Policy (MPP) offered by the college. Their presentations focused on the curriculum and the opportunities for graduate students to be part of the college’s many local and international outreach and research activities, including the Program for Social Policy Evaluation and Research (PROSPER) and the Program on Governance, Resilience and Sustainability (PROGRESS). HBKU’s admissions team also took part and advised participants on the application process, deadlines, and requirements for being admitted to the MPP.

The deadline for Qatari nationals and residents who wish to apply to HBKU’s wide-ranging programs is March 15, 2021.
