The College of Public Policy (CPP) held a panel session at the Doha Forum 2019 about the ability of governments to respond to external shocks with agility and resilience. Dr. Leslie Pal, CPP dean, moderated the panel, titled ‘Resilience, Governance and Public Policy for the 21st Century’. The session discussed specific aspects of resilience and its importance to effective 21st century governance. Among the panelists was Dr. Andreas Rechkemmer, a senior professor at the college. 

Dr. Leslie and Dr. Andreas, discussed the topic further in an interview on how global and domestic policy environments are increasingly characterized by turbulent and complex events.
