CPP Student Takes Part in HBKU Education Trip to Turkey

Asmaa Badwan, a student in the Master of Public Policy program at the College of Public Policy (CPP), was part of the recent HBKU Education Trip to Turkey, which focused on developing academic knowledge. Students visited several high ranking Turkish universities and research centers, exploring the facilities, labs, and advanced technologies, and attending several workshops.

“I was honored to be one of the students selected for HBKU's educational trip to Turkey, representing the College of Public Policy. Our university visits were enriching experiences full of discussions about our research interests and current research topics. We exchanged connections, ideas, potential internship opportunities, and other academic collaborations,” she said.

The trip was an educational as well as a cultural learning experience, with visits to famous historical palaces, souqs, and cultural shows. Badwan added: “Overall, our cultural and academic trip was rich and rewarding. We thank Dr. Maryam Al-Mannai, Student Affairs at HBKU, the hosting universities in Turkey, and the College of Public Policy for their contribution to making this trip happen.”
