An alumni of the College of Islamic Studies, Sabika Shaban used her education to expand upon her own project, the Qatar Disability Resource, which helps families raising children with disabilities.

Hamad Bin Khalifa University is proud of all its former students, including those that become high-profile changemakers and thought leaders. From time to time, the university attracts individuals that have already had a positive impact on society. These include Sabika Shaban, whose transformational support for Qatar’s disability community has been recognized on the international stage.
