The impact of the unprecedented challenges posed by COVID-19 on the employment sector has been wide-reaching. Workplaces around the world have been reshaped to acclimate to the ‘new normal’. Basic concepts of the workplace, such as working hours, sick leave and annual leave, and health and safety requirements, have changed dramatically. The law, in turn, is being applied to situations that were not remotely foreseeable at the beginning of the year.
This webinar will highlight the long-term effects of the pandemic on the workplace and employment laws, as well as how policymakers can address the new circumstances.
