Outreach at the Mall to Mark World Alzheimer's Day
Under the banner, "Memories Matter", QBRI marked the World Alzheimer's month in September with a series of outreach programs and activities. Besides educating the public through workshops, efforts were also made to raise awareness and to challenge the stigma associated with the condition.

Workshop to Mark World Alzheimer’s Day Campaign

Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (QBRI), part of Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), today signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Shafallah Center, a non-profit center dedicated to children with special needs. The agreement will pave the way for the two partners to undertake joint research activities, foster direct contact between specialists, as well as facilitate the use of facilities and equipment for research purposes.

We can help you build their language skills at the Arabic Reading Course program, where children between the ages of 10 and 12 years will read stories, watch movies, and take part in cognitive and linguistic activities.

PANEL SPEAKER
This workshop will help participants develop the skills required to become effective translators and editors in the sports sector.
Additionally, attendees will learn how to draft sports translation revision reports, to help ensure quality control in this area.
The workshop will be delivered by Mr. Nabeel Rashid, Translation Reviser, TII, HBKU
The workshop will be conducted in English and Arabic.
