Dr. Leslie A. Pal, Founding Dean, College of Public Policy, HBKU: “Congratulations to our first cohort in the Master of Public Policy program and for their dedication, commitment and hard work. They were and are a diverse and energetic group, intellectually curious and creative. Our goal was to give them the tools to analyze complex public policy problems facing Qatar, the region, and the world. We hope that in their future leadership roles, they will combine strong technical skills with ethics, and a personal obligation to the common good. I also extend my appreciation to the boundless dedication of CPP’s faculty and staff, who ensured that our graduates could make the most of the extraordinary learning opportunities at HBKU, even during the most challenging of times.”
