Orientation Statement for Dr. Leslie Pal, CPP Founding Dean

Dr. Leslie A. Pal, Founding Dean, College of Public Policy, HBKU: “I would like to welcome our new students as we look to the exciting new academic year ahead. We have two dynamic interdisciplinary programs at the college, the Master of Public Policy and the Master of Social Policy and Program Evaluation. We also have a vibrant faculty engaged in teaching and research. Students are assured of world-class academic and professional training to develop solid theoretical knowledge and specializations within public policy and the social sciences. Their skills will enable them to understand and enrich policymaking in Qatar, the region, and globally. The coming year is going to be one of engagement and excitement for the college and for HBKU as part of the larger Qatar Foundation ecosystem. We look forward to having them be part of that.”
