Dr. Ibrahim Mohamed Zein, Interim Dean, College of Islamic Studies, HBKU: “I would like to welcome our new and returning students for the coming academic year. It is a privilege to begin this scholarly engagement, with the common purpose of creating new knowledge but also developing the existing body of knowledge on contemporary and applied Islamic studies, and humanities in general. The college’s exceptionally designed programs, rich research ecosystem, and engaging community life will present students with an exciting academic journey. They will be equipped to contribute to scholarship that illuminates the place of Islam in the context of global affairs.”
