“I am proud to join INTBAU’s Board of Trustees and lend my expertise in Islamic architecture and urbanism in support of their vital mission of promoting traditional and sustainable methods of building and construction. I am grateful to CIS for their ongoing support of my work and their innate dedication to dialogue as a means of facilitating expertise and building capacity in Qatar and beyond,” said Dr. Kahera.

With INTBAU having recently established its Qatar chapter in 2022, Dr. Kahera will play a pivotal role in advancing sustainable traditional architecture in the country and creating impact in the educational sector, both academic and vocational, on the importance, methodologies and practices of traditional architecture, urbanism and crafts.
