HBKU Board Member Wins Prestigious Education Innovation Award

Dr. Ikhlaq Sidhu, a member of the Board of Trustees at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), received the 2018 Major Education Innovation Award for his role in driving innovation in education from IEEE -- the world’s largest and most reputable association for engineering, computing, and technology professionals. The award was granted to him for his role as a faculty director and a chief scientist at Berkeley’s Sutardja Center for Entrepreneurship and Technology at the University of California.

HBKU Showcases Healthcare Research Initiatives at WISH 2018

Colleges and research institutes of Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) are showcasing their various health-related research initiatives at the World Innovation Summit for Health 2018 conference, currently underway at the Qatar National Convention Centre. With five entities being actively involved in this year’s summit, HBKU is witnessing its strongest presence at WISH to date.
