Hinduism in Muslim Theological Arabic Sources

  • 07:00 PM - 09:00 PM
  • College of Islamic Studies
  • Auditorium, Minaretein (College of Islamic Studies building)

The event will be held in Arabic, with simultaneous English interpretation.

Muslim theological sources have become the departure point for the majority of modern Muslim writings on Hinduism, Buddhism, and Indian religious thought in general. This lecture attempts to demonstrate the inaccuracy of the information in those sources, and of ensuing studies that are based on such material.
