Join us for a public discussion with Virginia Gamba, the United Nations Special Representative of the Secretary-General for Children and Armed Conflict (SRSG/CAAC).

A collaboration between Hamad Bin Khalifa University’s College of Law and College of Public Policy, the event aims to highlight the importance of integrating child protection mandates in peace processes, negotiations, and agreements.

The discussion will explore the numerous challenges linked to the integration and prioritization of specific provisions for the protection of children. It will consider the work being done by the office of the SRSG/CAAC in promoting a more extensive exchange between child protection and mediation communities.
