The field of women’s and gender studies has become integral to the humanities and social sciences, in that it addresses diverse themes and challenges and attempts to provide solutions. With its interdisciplinary approach, women’s and gender studies allow for reflection and research at the crossroads of regional narratives and realities.
In the MENA region especially, this field has evolved amidst rapid change and dynamic shifts in thinking about history, identity, and knowledge production. As such, this seminar will delve into fresh theorization and research methods needed to unpack these changes and promote a more inclusive vision of knowledge production within this field.
