This workshop will help participants develop the skills required to become effective translators and editors in the sports sector. They will also learn how to draft sports translation revision reports, to ensure quality control in this area.

Despite medical advancements, breast cancer remains a pressing concern, with a 20% increase in reported cases since 2008. In 2020 alone, 2.3 million cases were documented, leading to an annual death toll of 685,000. Hormonal factors and lifestyle choices contribute significantly to this rise, alongside genetic predispositions like BRCA1 and BRCA2 mutations.

This seminar will provide the latest insights into Chemoprevention, an emerging strategy, that offers promise in reducing the risk of cancer for both sporadic and inherited breast cancers.

 

This workshop introduces participants to the techniques of writing pieces of information systematically and effectively.

Since note-taking involves particular cognitive behavior, participants will be incentivized to engage their minds in specific ways to help them grasp and retain information. They will also learn how to strike a balance between recording notes, processing information, and linking ideas.
