Overview
CARGEN® is an experimentally proven, scaled-up reformer that converts natural gas, light hydrocarbons, and captured CO₂ into low-carbon hydrogen, syngas (H2/CO), and premium carbon nanotubes (CNTs). Compared to conventional natural gas reformers, CARGEN® offers tunable downstream products such as low and neutral-carbon products, like sustainable methanol, fuels, and high-quality CNTs for downstream material industries (e.g., Batteries, Rubber, Steel, Concrete, and electronics). DTI is currently engaged with upstream, downstream, and technology users to build and utilize the commercial CARGEN® unit.
Product Description
Commercial quality carbon nanotubes (CNTs).
Low-carbon footprint hydrogen produced from natural gas or flue gas and CO2.
Technology that can be integrated into different gas processing and chemical production facilities, as well as operated as a standalone plant.
Tunable syngas applicable for different downstream processes, e.g., Sustainable methanol, low-, and neutral-carbon fuels via Fischer Tropsch and others.
Target Audience
- The chemicals and petrochemicals industry.
- The rubber, reinforced polymers, and plastics industry.
- Cement industry
- Electronics industry
- Steel industry
- Catalysis and other carbon-based material manufacturing industry
