Overview

Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) is a proud partner at Web Summit Qatar, where thousands of international tech entrepreneurs, investors, and leaders will gather at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center (DECC).

Since its inception, the university has empowered innovation across the region, while contributing to the state’s transition to a knowledge-based economy. Through its multidisciplinary academic programs, regionally unique research institutes, and collaborations with leading global institutions, HBKU bridges research with real-world application while nurturing a strong entrepreneurial spirit and community. As a vital part of the country’s drive to establish itself as a hub for technology and innovation, HBKU, a member of Qatar Foundation, is a natural partner for Web Summit Qatar.

This year, HBKU will participate for the third consecutive year with a designated booth to showcase some of the university’s most notable and innovative projects, including four technologies and eight startups.
