College of Science and Engineering Students Attend Digital Accessibility Workshop at Mada

As part of its Interactive Design for Healthcare course, students from the College of Science and Engineering (CSE) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) attended a workshop on digital accessibility at Mada – Qatar Assistive Technology Center. The CSE course, delivered by Dr. Dena Al-Thani, assistant professor at CSE, highlights the importance of accessible digital content for persons with disabilities and the elderly. The workshop at Mada enhanced participants’ learning experience, providing them with opportunities to engage with real-world applications and technologies. The workshop, entitled Introduction to Digital Accessibility, stressed the importance of inclusiveness and accessibility in technology-related innovations.
