Between November 23 and 26, faculty from Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) attended PhD Workshop China 2019 in Beijing. The annual event provides foreign universities and research institutes with opportunities to present their programs onsite and connect with top Chinese graduates and PhD candidates who are looking to study abroad. The College of Islamic Studies, the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and the College of Science and Engineering represented HBKU at PhD Workshop China 2019. Overall, HBKU offers 35 pioneering degrees, each tailored to address topics and challenges of local and global relevance. HBKU’s admissions cycle for 2019-2020 is now open, and students may apply through www.hbku.edu.qa.
