Dr. Logan Cochrane, associate professor at the College of Public Policy (CPP) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), was recently recognized for his outstanding contribution to the development of a graduate library for the Institute of Policy and Development Research (IPDR) at Hawassa University, Ethiopia. Dr. Cochrane provided over 600 academic books to establish the library, which will boost the institute’s training and research environment for its PhD students and teaching staff. The award was granted to him by Dr. Ayano Berasso, President of Hawassa University, and Professor Tesfaye Semela, director, IPDR. The award ceremony was attended by university leadership, and received coverage on Ethiopian television, radio, and in newspaper media outlets.
