The College of Humanities and Social Science (CHSS) held its annual Advisory Board Meeting, bringing together faculty, management, administrators, community leaders, and international academics to review the College’s growth and achievements, as well as discuss strategies for the upcoming year.
The meeting provided an opportunity for Board members to review the College's progress across key areas, including admissions, academic program development, student outcomes, research productivity, and institutional partnerships. Additionally, talks also explored opportunities to expand innovative learning models and academic offerings that respond to emerging societal and workforce needs. The Board further commended CHSS for its continued commitment to delivering excellence in teaching, research and service.
“We are grateful for the engagement of our Advisory Board members, whose insights and support are invaluable to our continued success,” Dr. Yasir Suleiman-Malley, Dean, CHSS, remarked. “The dedication of all members of the College and our partners is vital to our continued success. We look forward to building on this momentum for the upcoming academic year and beyond.”
Discussions also highlighted the College's contribution to advancing knowledge and fostering dialogue on issues of national, regional, and global importance. Through its interdisciplinary approach and engagement with external partners, CHSS continues to strengthen the university's position as an impact-driven institution, by developing graduates equipped to translate academic scholarship into meaningful real-world application.
