Qatar Computing Research Institute AI Review Tool Rayyan Now Part of US-Based Startup

Rayyan, the artificial intelligence (AI)-assisted systematic literature review tool developed by Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU), is now part of US-based startup, Rayyan Systems. The new partnership will accelerate the development of the web and mobile application to support the needs of the growing number of scientists and researchers using the tool.

From its headquarters in Boston, Rayyan Systems has the opportunity to work closely with global academic and biomedical research clusters, enabling the dedicated team that will be working on Rayyan to identify and develop additional features and capabilities to serve the research and science community.

Rayyan’s advanced natural language processing, artificial intelligence, and machine learning technologies have proven highly effective, and over 100,000 researchers rely on Rayyan to complete their often laborious systematic literature reviews. Researchers report cutting their review time by half with the help of Rayyan, an achievement that can serve to accelerate scientific discovery with all its societal benefits.
