The College of Public Policy at Hamad Bin Khalifa University, in collaboration with the International Organization for Migration, cordially invites you to attend an insightful discussion on comparative migration policies and the knowledge sources behind them.

Developing sound migration policies based on evidence contributes to not just safe, orderly and regular migration but also to the development of the countries of origin, destination and the migrants themselves. However, it is important to recognize that to strengthen evidence-based policy making, we should address various aspects including, among others, matters related to funding and through a robust analysis of existing migration policies and other comparative frameworks.

Join the discussion to talk about the opportunities and challenges in collecting and systematizing data on migration policies across countries, the potential for comprehensive research on migration policy, precise policy analysis and more.
