Taxation plays an integral role in the fiscal sustainability of states. However, to achieve this, agreeing on the rights and obligations of taxpayers and tax administrators, is essential. 

This colloquium sets out to review the current Charter for QFC Taxpayers, discuss the viability of the publication of a charter of taxpayer rights by the General Tax Authority (GTA) and learn from experts what an acceptable charter of taxpayer rights looks like and the processes to successfully enact one.
