Single-Cell Genomics in Precision Medicine

17Oct2020
Single-Cell Genomics in Precision Medicine

This symposium will address the various single-cell sequencing aspects by genomic tools. Attendees will also explore the potential clinical research in this field and anticipate the clinical application of single-cell sequencing technologies in neurological and inflammatory diseases.

The CPD-accredited symposium is an excellent opportunity for healthcare professionals to gain insights into the emerging field of single-cell genomics and engage with prominent international experts in this field from France (Imagine Institute) and Germany (Helmholtz Institute).

Overall Learning Objectives

  • Describe the basis of the latest advances in single-cell genomic technologies.
  • Illustrate how single-cell research improves our understanding of disease pathogenesis.
  • Define the potential clinical research areas in the field.
  • Discuss the future of single-cell sequencing applications in clinical practice, including diagnostics, prognostics, targeted therapy, and early detection.

This activity is a Category 1 - Accredited Group Learning Activity as defined by the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners - Accreditation Department and is approved for 4.50 hours
