Seminar: The Problems of the Arab and Islamic Renaissance

A seminar hosted by the Al-Qaradawi Center for Islamic Moderation and Renewal.

Over the last two centuries, the Arab and Islamic world has been facing many challenges in achieving the renaissance of Arabs and Muslims. This seminar seeks to discuss and analyze the renaissance as a concept, former attempts to achieve it, and reasons for failure. It will explore the renaissance as a problematic concept and ways to meet forthcoming challenges, such as globalization.
