Migration and displacement might be considered the defining features of our times. Yet, nationalist border regimes governing and controlling the mobility of people are on the rise.
In this panel, speakers will discuss the racialized, classed and gendered politics of forced migration and border controls in the Arab world, the EU and the US, considering not only the unfolding dynamics on the ground, but also the ethics of research and humanitarian work in the field of migration.
