The lecture seeks to address the nature of knowledge and science among Muslims, and will investigate areas of interaction between Islamic civilization and Europe. It will also analyze the lessons learned from historical experiences, such as, how Islamic knowledge and its curricula were transferred to Europe. Additionally, the lecture will examine whether it is possible to apply these lessons to the efforts of Islamic reform and achieve a contemproray Islamic renaissance.
