The late Dr. Muhammad Hamidullah documented the covenants of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in his book, ‘al-Watha'iq al-Siyasiyah’. More recently, Canadian scholar Dr. John Andrew Morrow conducted a similar exercise.
Taken together, these works make a convincing case for authenticity, and are highly relevant to present-day Islamic societies.
This lecture will highlight the principles of peaceful co-existence and good governance in Islamic communities, as outlined in these works.
