The Summer Research Program (SRP) at Qatar Biomedical Research Institute (QBRI) offers intensive training opportunities in specific fields of biomedical research to exceptional undergraduate students over the summer.  

Eligibility

To be considered for the program, the applicant must: 

• Hold a Qatari residence permit
• Be enrolled in an undergraduate program in biological/medical related science 
• Have a minimum graduate point average (GPA) of 3.0

Application Process 

Applicants must fill in the online form and submit the following documents:

• An updated resume
• Official copy of university academic transcript
• Two letters of recommendation from faculty/instructors, familiar with the student, in a position to assess the student’s capabilities and potential for a career in science
• A selection of two projects from the SRP projects listed below

Extended deadline for receiving applications is April 6, 2023.

The top candidates are interviewed by members of the selection committee before making final admission decisions.
