Inaugural UNESCO Chair on Environmental Law and Sustainable Development Distinguished Speaker Series | Hamad Bin Khalifa University

The UNESCO Chair on Environmental Law and Sustainable Development at Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) is hosting the inaugural Distinguished Speaker Series.

A flagship initiative by the UNESCO Chair, the Distinguished Speaker Series offers an opportunity to learn from remarkable individuals and celebrated personalities who have changed the world through their work in advancing the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Its overall goal is to highlight and discuss current key topics on the environment and sustainability and to offer profound insights on innovative approaches to address some of the complex sustainability challenges of our time.

This inaugural session, on the topic “Food Entrepreneurship and Sustainable Development: Scaling Resilient Agriculture and Sustainable Businesses,” will welcome Ndidi Okonkwo Nwuneli, President/CEO of the ONE Campaign. A TED speaker, she has over 25 years of international development experience. She has been involved in fostering impactful solutions in the global social innovation landscape, focusing on Africa.

This lecture will be held in English.
